Abbeville County Administrative Building

Moss & Associates, in association with Uldrick Builders, performed preconstruction and construction management services for Abbeville County’s Administration Building, converting the former Abbeville Hospital into a new administration office complex.
This adaptive reuse/renovation project consolidated 17 departments, which previously spread among six buildings, into one facility that includes tax, administration and permitting, and the veterans’ administration, among other departments. The newly renovated Administration Building is a one-stop shop for the residents of Abbeville County. The two-story, 1960s-vintage structure, approximately 45,000 SF, was vacant for four years before construction commenced.
