Cleveland Park Animal Hospital

Location: Greenville, South Carolina
Client: Cleveland Park Animal Hospital
Architect: McAbee Architects

This state-of-the-art veterinary facility near downtown Greenville replaces Cleveland Park Animal Hospital’s existing clinic at the same location.

Moss and Associates, which has single-source responsibility for the project, recommended relocating the practice and its associated medical equipment to temporary modular facilities on site, rather than use a phased remodeling approach. This resulted in significant cost savings for the owners. Following the relocation effort, Moss and Associates’ team immediately began demolition of the existing hospital structure, floor slab and foundations.

In addition to dedicated space for small animal examination, treatment, surgery, grooming and boarding, the new Cleveland Park Animal Hospital includes an equine treatment area, as well as multiple laboratories, a pharmacy, an employee breakroom, and management offices. Among the facility’s design attributes is special acoustical treatment in the dog boarding and main reception areas.

Moss and Associates’ scope of work for the rebuild included the supply and installation of new equipment. The project also included expansion of the existing parking lot and extensive landscaping of the property.
