Harbourside Place
Location: Jupiter, Florida
Client: Allied Capital & Development of South Florida & Harbourside Place, LLC
Architect: Leo A. Daly
For more than a decade, leaders in the Town of Jupiter, FL, have been concerned about how development would affect the public’s access to the Intracoastal Waterway.
After years of planning, Moss & Associates broke ground on a ten–acre, 783,064 SF mixed–use project that will guarantee the public’s access to the waterway and create a town center – Jupiter’s Riverwalk and Harbourside Place.
Jupiter’s Riverwalk, phase one of the northern Palm Beach County project, is on a nine–month timetable to build a 1,100–foot Riverwalk promenade, which is part of an inter–connected public pedestrian system spanning Jupiter’s boundaries from north to south. This first phase also includes construction of a new seawall; a 209 linear foot public marina with nine public boat slips; and the installation of benches, shade structures and decorative lighting along the Intracoastal Waterway.
Phase two of the project will begin construction of Harbourside Place. The mixed–use waterfront project will include: 60,000 SF of retail shopping, seven major restaurants, office sites, 4–star hotel accommodations with banquet and meeting facilities, an entertainment plaza, outdoor amphitheatre, cultural center and parking garages.
