Publix Supermarkets — Mary Brickell Village

This new 31,000 SF grocery store sits within an existing parking structure adjacent to various office and residential hi-rise structures, a people mover and busy entertainment center known as Mary Brickell Village in downtown Miami. To accommodate the new Publix and future condominium tower that was to sit atop the garage, field crews were required to reinforce the existing foundation system with auger cast piles.
As construction manager, and while working under a negotiated contract, Moss worked closely with the owner, architect and design consultants throughout the preconstruction planning phases to ensure all budgets, schedules and logistical requirements were addressed prior to commencing work in the field. This represents one of eight projects Moss has built for Publix Supermarkets in the past five years.
