Interior improvementsĀ  included 50 additional check-in counters, new restrooms, improved lighting and acoustics, replacement of the single escalator and older elevators with two new escalators and two new elevators, and a high-efficiency air conditioning system. Exterior improvements include new covered ground transportation areas and 172 additional parking spaces. A second boarding bridge was also added to expedite the passenger embarkation and debarkation processes.
