Grant Mendeljian

Vice President, Preconstruction

As Vice President of Preconstruction in Dallas, Grant is responsible for overseeing all aspects of preconstruction and estimating services for commercial projects in Texas and wood-frame, multi-family, and student housing projects nationwide. This includes programmatic cost modeling, conceptual and detailed estimating, value analysis, constructability reviews, trade partner engagement and bidding, design-assist, and design-build services.

With more than 24 years of construction industry experience, his career started with hands-on field experience as a laborer, superintendent, and then project manager, which developed into multiple preconstruction leadership roles, including manager of conceptual estimating, purchasing manager, and chief estimator. His diverse experience covers many sectors, including corporate office, higher education, hospitality, student housing, healthcare, pharmaceutical, airport facilities, stadiums and sports facilities, apartments, condos, K-12 schools, entertainment, infrastructure, and wood-frame multi-family projects.

Grant earned his Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management at Michigan State University. He served on the university’s Construction Management Advisory Board for 17 years and was president for three of them. Now, he is on the Community Engagement Committee and Board of Adjustment/Construction Board of Appeals for the Town of Prosper. He is also a LEED® Accredited Professional and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
