FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Enrique Coello, Chief Human Resources Officer of Moss Associates, has been named to the Human Capital Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, where he will serve a three-year term, which commenced on November 16.

The Federal Reserve’s mission has a dual mandate to promote price stability and maximum employment. The council is made up of leaders from human resources, employment agencies, technical college systems, and for-profit and non-profit institutions in the Southeast. It provides the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta insights into short-term fluctuations and long-term structural issues related to labor markets, as well as human capital development and its impact on economic vitality.

“I am honored to join the council and provide an industry perspective on labor issues,” Coello said. “Construction is a major component of the work force and is unique from other sectors. There is going to be continuing demand for workers over the next several years, and the industry will continue to see additional growth in real wages.”

“I look forward to participating in discussions with the Federal Reserve Bank’s president, staff economists, and regional executives on factors that affect labor market dynamics and how the Federal Reserve addresses impacts to the labor market.”

Coello earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Carroll University and graduate-level HR Management certifications from the University of Miami and Cornell University.
