Jason Martin Joins Moss Construction as Vice President
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Moss Construction is pleased to announce that Jason Martin has joined the firm as Vice President/Project Executive.
With more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry, Martin will focus on Moss’ medical projects. He will be involved with all project phases from pre-construction to project close-out including business development, construction operations, staffing assignments, project plan development, cost and schedule analysis, as well as owner and subcontractor negotiations.
“Jason has extensive experience in the healthcare market where he has successfully completed several projects, including biosafety level 3 (BSL-3) laboratory renovations at the National Institute of Health and two different Proton Therapy projects in South Florida,” said Andrew McAllister, Moss Co-President of South Florida. “He has a critical understanding of Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) requirements, infection control risk assessment (ICRA) management, code compliance, and state agency coordination, all of which is beneficial for critical healthcare project execution plan development. Because of his vast experience and strong ties to the local community, we are excited to bring his talent and perspective to the Moss team.”
“I first fell in love with the construction industry when I was able to visit industrial projects sites with my grandfather, who was an engineer at Georgia Pacific. That love of building large and complex projects drew me to always challenging myself to building bigger and more technical projects,” said Martin. “Moss is well-known for its outstanding projects and culture of family values. I’m excited to join the team.” Martin earned his bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Florida. He is a member of the Florida Healthcare Engineering Association, the American Society for Healthcare Engineering, Associated Builders and Contractors and the Construction Association of South Florida. Prior to joining Moss, Mr. Martin served as a Senior Project Executive with Gilbane Building Company.
