Moss Celebrates Completion of Hudson Primary Academy in Pasco
PASCO, Fla – Moss is pleased to announce the completion of the $15.4 million renovation of Hudson Primary Academy (formerly Northwest Elementary School) in Pasco County.
The elementary school was constructed in 1973 and has been adequately maintained through the years but was in need of modernization. The renovations brought the school up to current ADA regulations and life safety code requirements.
“We’re thrilled and humbled the District School Board of Pasco County chose Moss to manage and complete the renovations to Hudson Primary Academy,” said Toby Manulak, Mid-Florida vice president for Moss Construction. “We take great satisfaction in helping the school district provide students with modern facilities that will provide students with an optimal environment for learning.”
The 80,000 square-foot remodel and addition project included modernization of current facilities to incorporate more natural lighting, modern technology, new floors and wall finishes, cabinetry, and doors. The elementary school also received upgrades to major building systems, lighting low voltage systems, and fire sprinkler systems.
Edward C. Hoffman from Hoffman Architects, PA served as architect for the project.
