Moss Celebrates Completion of Mill Creek Residence Hall for Blinn College
MCKINNEY, Tx. – Moss Construction and Hunt Companies are excited to announce the completion of Blinn College’s $22.7 million Mill Creek Residence Hall in Brenham, Texas.
Developed by Servitas, the new four-story, 169,700 square foot facility, boasts 464 student suites in four bedroom-two bathroom and two bedroom-one bathroom, configurations. The co-ed residence hall offers microwave, mini-fridge, and a sink in each unit, as well as full-size bed, desk, chair, and drawer chests for each student.
“We are humbled that Blinn College and Servitas chose Moss to manage the construction of the Mill Creek Residence Hall and bring the project to fruition,” said Tom Philley, executive vice president of Moss. “It was a pleasure to be able to bring our firm’s student housing experience to the Brenham Campus.”
Designed by Kirksey Architecture, the Mill Creek Residence Hall will provide students with community and study rooms on each floor, a common area in each suite with sofa and TV, internet service in each room, as well as laundry machines and vending lounge available.
The facility, located at the corner of Seager Street and Old Mill Road, welcomed its first student residents Fall 2018.
