Moss Construction Promotes Dan Wobby to CFO

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Moss Construction is pleased to announce that Dan Wobby has been named Chief Financial Officer.

“Dan has been a valuable contributor to Moss and integral to our company’s evolution in his role as Chief Strategy Officer,” said Scott Moss,CEO. “Dan coordinated our Vision and Values initiative and has been instrumental in developing and communicating important changes in our business strategy and structure. We look forward to him bringing his experience, focus and leadership to the finance areas.”

Since joining Moss five years ago, Wobby has headed the company’s business strategy and marketing efforts. Wobby assumes the duties of CFO from Bruce Moldow, who has acted as both CFO and Chief Legal Officer for several years. Moldow will continue as CLO and continues to have oversight of the Risk Management functions.

Before joining Moss in 2016, Wobby had served as CFO, principal accounting officer and Regional Business Executive with his former employer and has been a Certified Public Accountant. He has an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in business administration and accounting from Saint Michaels College in Vermont. Dan is a board member of HANDY, Inc. whose mission is to embrace, educate and empower vulnerable youth. Dan also serves as a senior advisor to JobSiteCare, a company that creates safe workplaces and delivers healthcare on the job.
