FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The 2019-20 school year is off to a great start for students at 18 South Florida schools thanks to the Moss Foundation.

Moss Construction is pleased to announce that Senior Project Manager Ashley Little has been selected as one of Engineering News Record Southeast’s 2020 Class of Top Young Professionals.

The contest, conducted by each of ENR’s Regional Publications, seeks to recognize young industry professionals who represent the “Best-of-the-Best” in their construction and design careers by exhibiting qualities such as leadership, career progress, community involvement and creating landmark projects.

“We are extremely proud that Ashley Little is being recognized for her outstanding work, both at work and in the community,” said Scott Moss, president of Moss Construction. “From her work as a senior project manager for several Port Everglades projects, the largest portfolio of utility scale solar projects in Florida, and her work with Wounded Warrior Outdoors, Ashley gives 110% to everything she does. She embodies our core values of honoring all relationships, embracing an entrepreneurial spirit, and approaching each day with contagious energy.”

A Florida native, 30-year-old Little’s connection to the construction industry runs deep. Her uncle is in the stone masonry business in Texas, and her father also works in commercial construction in South Florida.

“It’s truly an honor to have been selected as one of ENR Southeast’s Class of 2020 Top Young Professionals,” said Little, who in addition to her work with Wounded Warrior Outdoors, is also a long-time competitor and sport trap shooter in FITASC, an international federation for sporting competition.

“I’m blessed to be able to work with the incredible team at Moss and to work in such a dynamic industry that greatly impacts our community.” She graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Construction Management and a minor in Business.
