Florida Panthers Team Store

The 7,852-square-foot renovation to the BB&T Center (formerly the Bank Atlantic Center) Florida Panthers team store included the demolition and relocation of the existing team store, as well as construction of structural steel, light-gauge metal framing, drywall, and miscellaneous metals and finishes, which included the installation of 20-foot-tall graphics over level 5 finish walls. Life safety expansions and upgrades were also done to the center’s systems.

In order to ensure that all life safety systems were fully operational during the expansion and upgrades, Moss implemented a design-build approach for the construction of all MEPF systems. This required close coordination with all authorities with jurisdiction, but most importantly with the fire department. This approach prevented interruption of service for all life safety systems during the ongoing event schedule.
