This design-build control tower at Cobb County McCollum Airport consists of a 62-foot, seven-story structure with precast concrete exterior walls, and a steel-framed structure on vibro piers and mat foundation. The building is 4,002 square feet. Existing aviation equipment was moved from the old tower to the new one. Demolition of the old tower and limited renovation of the administration building took place once the new tower was operational.
